Lipofreeze - Non-invasive, targeted fat removal

FAQ

We have provided the answers below, for some commonly asked questions regarding the Lipofreeze procedure. However, before deciding upon any type of cosmetic surgery, we suggest that you do your own research in order to make an informed decision, with your doctor or plastic surgeon, about what is best for you.

What is Lipofreeze?

Lipofreeze is a cosmetic procedure that uses cooling technology to get rid of fat cells, safely and without causing damage to the skin. It relies upon the biological response fat cells have to have low temperatures to eliminate fat cells without damaging the skin. This process is also known as cryolipolysis.

What Can Lipofreeze do for me?

Lipofreeze procedures are scientifically designed to gradually reduce unwanted abdominal fat, love handles (flanks), and back fat. Unlike invasive forms of liposuction, it does not require surgery and has minimal side effects. A patient can go in during their lunch hour for a procedure and be back at work in the afternoon.

Why choose Lipofreeze over Liposuction Surgery?

The liposuction procedure is an extremely invasive plastic surgery procedure, as are most similar treatments such as Laser assisted Liposuction (LAL), Tumescent Liposuction and Suction Assisted Liposuction (SAL). Due to their invasive nature, these procedures are often accompanied by long, painful recovery times.

Lipofreeze is a non-invasive procedure. It allows your body to get rid of the fatty deposits through its own waste elimination system, without the need for surgery, resulting in fewer risks than normal liposuction procedures. Patients are normally able to return to normal activities immediately.

How is Lipofreeze done?

The Lipofreeze procedure is conducted by a doctor or surgeon who will utilize cooling panels for the procedure. The area of the body between the cooling panels is cooled below body temperature but above freezing. The fat cells are rendered non-functional and will be eliminated from the body over the next few weeks, resulting in a loss of fat from the targeted area.

How Long Before I See Results?

Most patients see some results 2–3 weeks after their first procedure. Full benefits can be seen in two to six months.

How Many Procedures are Necessary?

Most patients need only one or two procedures to achieve the desired results.

Can I go back to work the same day?

Unlike traditional invasive methods of liposuction, there is no extensive recovery time with Lipofreeze and no time off is necessary.

Is Lipofreeze for me?

Lipofreeze is a non-invasive targeted method of fat reduction. It is not intended for large areas or for people wishing large amounts of weight loss. The best candidates are those in good health with stubborn or problem areas, such as the love handles or lower abdomen. There is no specific age, weight or body type for Lipofreeze.
